How it works

1. Activate Vish Kal's first activated ability by sacrificing Vish Kal.
2. Vish Kal's undying ability from Mikaeus triggers, returning Vish Kal from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Resolve the ability from step 1, failing to place a counter because Vish Kal left the battlefield.
4. Activate Vish Kal's last ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, giving target creature -1/-1 until end of turn.
5. Repeat.
