How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Patron of the Wild, adding CC.
2. When Patron of the Wild dies, Yedora triggers, returning Patron of the Wild from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a Forest land.
3. Activate Patron of the Wild by tapping it, adding .
4. Activate Patron of the Wild's morph ability by paying 2, turning it face up.
5. Patron of the Wild triggers, giving target creature +3/+3 until end of turn.
6. Repeat.

This clever recycling loop turns Ashnod's Altar into a self-sustaining mana engine by leveraging Yedora, Grave Gardener to continually resurrect fallen creatures as basic Forest lands. When you feed Patron of the Wild to the Altar for two colorless mana, Yedora steps in to bring it right back to the battlefield face-down as a land, ready to tap for the green mana needed to pay Patron of the Wild's morph cost. Turning it face up resets the cycle, giving you infinite sacrifice fodder, endless landfall triggers, and all the mana and creature buffs you could possibly want.
