How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing a nontoken Forest, which is a creature due to Ambush Commander.
2. When the Forest dies, Yedora triggers, returning the Forest from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a Forest land.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to the sacrificed creature's power.
4. Repeat.

This clever botanical loop transforms your land base into an infinite-milling engine by tying together three distinct permanent types. With Ambush Commander in play, every Forest you control simultaneously functions as a 1/1 green Elf creature, letting you feed them directly to Altar of Dementia to mill an opponent. Whenever one of those creature-lands hits the graveyard, Yedora, Grave Gardener immediately steps in to return it to the battlefield face down as a fresh Forest land. Because that returned Forest is once again a land under Ambush Commander's watchful eye, it effortlessly loops right back into an Elf ready to be sacrificed anew for endless triggers.
