How it works

1. Activate Coastal Hornclaw by sacrificing a nontoken Forest, which is a creature due to Ambush Commander.
2. When the Forest dies, Yedora triggers, returning the Forest from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a Forest land.
3. Resolve the Coastal Hornclaw ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a simple sacrifice outlet into an engine by blurring the line between land, creature, and grave. When you sacrifice a Forest to fuel Coastal Hornclaw, Ambush Commander's static ability ensures you are actually sacrificing a creature, which immediately triggers Yedora, Grave Gardener to bring that very same Forest right back to the battlefield face down as a fresh land. Because the card enters anew as a basic land type, Ambush Commander instantly animates it back into an Elf creature ready to be sacrificed again, letting you cycle through the entire sequence infinitely.
