How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Ruthless Ripper, adding CC.
2. When Ruthless Ripper dies, Yedora triggers, returning Ruthless Ripper from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a Forest land.
3. Activate Ruthless Ripper by tapping it, adding .
4. Activate Ruthless Ripper's morph ability by revealing a black card from your hand, turning it face up.
5. When Ruthless Ripper is turned face up, it triggers, causing target player to lose 2 life.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns the graveyard into a revolving door by leveraging Yedora, Grave Gardener to constantly recycle your fallen threats into fresh timber. When you sacrifice Ruthless Ripper to Ashnod's Altar, Yedora's static ability immediately steps in to return it to the battlefield as a face-down Forest land, granting you a steady stream of colorless mana while setting up your next move. From there, you tap the newly minted land for green mana, use its morph ability to turn it face up, and trigger Ruthless Ripper's life-drain ability to chip away at your opponent. By looping this sequence, you can effortlessly drain an opponent's life total while generating infinite mana and death triggers.
