How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Dragon's Eye Savants, adding CC.
2. When Dragon's Eye Savants dies, Yedora triggers, returning Dragon's Eye Savants to the battlefield face down as a Forest land.
3. Activate Dragon's Eye Savants by tapping it, adding .
4. Activate Dragon's Eye Savants's morph ability by revealing a blue card from your hand, turning it face up.
5. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in turning face-down permanents into a self-sustaining engine. Ashnod's Altar provides the sacrifice outlet to crack open your creatures, while Yedora, Grave Gardener immediately catches them on the way out, rebutchering them as face-down Forest lands. Because these lands retain their creature characteristics (and crucially, their morph traits), Dragon's Eye Savants can be tapped for green mana and then use its morph ability—fueled by revealing a blue card in your hand—to flip right back face-up, ready to be sacrificed to the Altar all over again.
