How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Nervous Gardener, adding CC.
2. When Nervous Gardener dies, Yedora triggers, returning Nervous Gardener from your graveyard to the battlefield face-down as a Forest land.
3. Activate Nervous Gardener by tapping it, adding .
4. Activate Nervous Gardener's disguise ability by paying , turning it face-up.
5. Nervous Gardener triggers, causing you to search your library for a land with a basic land type and put it into your hand.
6. Repeat.

This clever engine turns Yedora, Grave Gardener into a twisted lumberyard where your creatures never truly stay dead. By sacrificing Nervous Gardener to Ashnod's Altar, you generate the raw colorless mana needed to fuel its own resurrection as a face-down Forest land courtesy of Yedora's static ability. From there, you can tap that very same land for green mana to pay for Nervous Gardener's disguise cost, turning it face up to trigger its search ability before feeding it back to Ashnod's Altar to repeat the cycle indefinitely.
