How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Voidmage Prodigy, adding .
2. When Voidmage Prodigy dies, Yedora triggers, returning Voidmage Prodigy from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a Forest land.
3. Activate Voidmage Prodigy by tapping it, adding .
4. Activate Voidmage Prodigy's morph ability by paying , turning it face up.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Voidmage Prodigy into an endless mana-engine and counterspell threat by turning its grave into a nursery. When you sacrifice Voidmage Prodigy to Phyrexian Altar, Yedora, Grave Gardener immediately catches it as it dies, replanting it onto the battlefield face down as a fresh Forest land. From there, you use the mana from the Altar—or tap the newly minted land for green—to pay for Voidmage Prodigy's morph cost, turning it face up once more and leaving it primed to be sacrificed right back into the Altar.
