How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing another nontoken creature.
2. When the creature dies, Yedora triggers, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a Forest land and as a 1/1 creature due to Living Lands.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to the creature's power.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns your graveyard into a perpetual milling engine by leveraging Yedora, Grave Gardener to constantly recycle your fallen creatures. Because Living Lands animates every Forest into a 1/1 creature, those newly returned face-down lands are immediately ready to be sacrificed to Altar of Dementia once more. Each cycle triggers Yedora, Grave Gardener anew while chipping away at your opponents' libraries, letting Altar of Dementia mill an entire library down to nothing.
