How it works

1. Activate Perilous Forays by paying 1 and sacrificing Proteus Machine.
2. When Proteus Machine dies, Yedora triggers, returning Proteus Machine to the battlefield face down as a Forest land.
3. Resolve the Perilous Forays ability, causing you to search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
4. Activate Proteus Machine by tapping it, adding .
5. Activate Proteus Machine's morph ability by paying 0, turning it face up.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms Proteus Machine into an endlessly recyclable sacrifice engine, turning your entire deck of basic lands directly onto the battlefield.
