How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing a nontoken Forest, which is a creature due to Ambush Commander.
2. When the Forest dies, Yedora triggers, returning the Forest from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a Forest land.
3. Resolve the Woe Strider ability, causing you to scry 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns your land base into an endless engine for sacrifice and graveyard triggers by leaning entirely on Ambush Commander to animate every Forest you control into a creature. Once they are walking forests, you can feed them directly to Woe Strider's sacrifice ability to fuel infinite scry triggers and death effects. The real magic happens because Yedora, Grave Gardener immediately rescues each fallen forest, sliding it right back onto the battlefield face down as a fresh Forest land—which Ambush Commander instantly animates all over again, ready to be sacrificed anew.
