How it works

1. If needed, activate Ring of Valkas' equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to Metalworker.
2. Activate Metalworker by tapping it and revealing at least four artifact cards from your hand, adding at least eight C.
3. Activate Urza by paying 6, creating a token copy of Metalworker that is a 1/1 Soldier.
4. Activate Ring of Valkas' equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to the Metalworker token.
5. Repeat from step 2 using the Metalworker token instead.
6. Once you have infinite colorless mana, you may target any artifact you control to get infinite copies of them.

This delightful engine spins out of control by turning Metalworker into a self-replicating mana factory, using Ring of Valkas to immediately grant haste to each new copy so it can tap right away. With Urza, Prince of Kroog footing the bill at six mana to clone our tapped artifact creatures, the math quickly breaks in our favor: revealing enough artifacts from hand lets Metalworker generate more than enough mana to fund the next Urza activation. Once this loop is humming, Urza's ability isn't just limited to making copies of Metalworker—we can eventually funnel our infinite colorless mana into duplicating any artifact on our board infinitely.
