How it works

1. Activate Knotvine Mystic by paying 1 and tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Knotvine Mystic by paying 3 and untapping it, giving it +2/+2 until end of turn.
3. Repeat.

This delightful loop turns Knotvine Mystic into a one-elf mana forge by exploiting the explosive mana-doubling power of Mana Reflection. With Mana Reflection on the board, tapping the Mystic for three mana instead yields a torrential six-mana return, easily paying for Umbral Mantle's untap cost while leaving plenty of profit behind. You can then use that leftover mana to continuously pump the Mystic into an infinitely massive threat while generating infinite red, green, and white mana.
