How it works

  1. Activate Lotus Petal by tapping and sacrificing it, adding U manaU mana.
  2. Activate Muldrotha by paying 1U mana, blinking it.
  3. When Muldrotha enters the battlefield, Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability triggers, repairing it and Muldrotha.
  4. Cast Lotus Petal from your graveyard by paying 0.
  5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Muldrotha, the Gravetide to repeatedly pull Lotus Petal straight out of your graveyard, utilizing the artifact's sacrifice ability to fund the engine. Deadeye Navigator pairs up with Muldrotha via soulbond, granting a reliable blink ability that resets Muldrotha when fueled by the mana you generate. While Mana Reflection isn't directly mentioned in the basic activation sequence, any permanent tapped for mana under its watchful eye produces double the output, providing a massive multiplier for your resources as you cycle through your permanents. Together, these pieces create an infinite loop of entry and exit triggers, perfectly suited for running up an endless storm count in formats like commander, legacy, oathbreaker, and vintage.
