How it works

1. Equip Paradise Mantle onto Torchling.
2. Tap Torchling to add .
3. Spend that mana to untap Torchling.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Torchling into a self-sustaining mana engine by exploiting a quirk of its own activated abilities. Equipping Paradise Mantle grants Torchling the ability to tap for mana, which Mana Reflection instantly doubles to yield two mana of any color each time it taps. You then feed just one of that generated mana right back into Torchling's untap ability, leaving you with a surplus of infinite colored mana to fuel the rest of your turn.
