How it works

1. Activate the mana-producing creature by tapping it, adding at least due to Mana Reflection.
2. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping the creature.
3. Repeat.

This classic two-card loop turns any blue-producing permanent into a limitless fountain of energy by pairing Freed from the Real's targeted untap ability with Mana Reflection's passive mana-doubling effect. Because Mana Reflection ensures that tapping your enchanted creature yields twice its normal output, you simply spend one of those generated blue mana to untap it with Freed from the Real, pocketing the surplus every single cycle. As long as your enchanted creature can produce at least two mana—with at least one of them being blue—this simple recursion yields infinite mana of any color that creature is capable of producing.
