How it works

1. Activate Unnatural Selection by paying 1, causing Ley Weaver to become an Elf until end of turn.
2. Activate Nykthos by paying 2 and tapping it, adding an amount of equal to your devotion to green.
3. Activate Ley Weaver by tapping it, untapping Wirewood Lodge and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.
4. Activate Wirewood Lodge's second ability by paying and tapping it, untapping Ley Weaver.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop turns a massive green devotion into a bottomless well of mana by leaning on a clever bit of type manipulation. Unnatural Selection does the quiet heavy lifting here, turning Ley Weaver into an Elf so that Wirewood Lodge's targeted untap ability can reach it. Once Ley Weaver is designated an honorary Elf, tapping it to untap Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Wirewood Lodge itself generates a surplus of mana. Finally, you funnel a portion of that green bounty back into Wirewood Lodge to untap Ley Weaver, allowing you to feed the Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx engine over and over again for infinite mana and infinite land untaps.
