How it works

This clever loop relies on Magda, Brazen Outlaw to reward you with endless Treasure tokens whenever a Dwarf becomes tapped. Because Unnatural Selection can flexibly rewrite creature types for a modest mana investment, it turns North Pole Patrol into a Dwarf on demand so that its tap ability triggers Magda. Once North Pole Patrol taps to untap Samut, Voice of Dissent, you can use Samut's active untap ability fueled by the mana from sacrificing those very Treasures to untap North Pole Patrol right back. This engine sustains itself indefinitely, letting you flood the board with artifacts and eventually tutor every single artifact and Dragon straight out of your library.
