How it works

1. Activate Unnatural Selection by paying 1, causing Trazyn to become a Sliver until end of turn.
2. Activate Trazyn using Five Hundred Year Diary's ability by tapping it, adding at least .
3. Activate Trazyn by paying 2, untapping it.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop relies on Trazyn the Infinite absorbing the activated abilities of artifact cards in your graveyard to turn an engine of ordinary items into a powerhouse. While Five Hundred Year Diary sits in your graveyard waiting to be leveraged, Unnatural Selection steps in to temporarily make Trazyn a Sliver, which conveniently grants it Scuttling Sliver's untap ability. With those pieces in place, Trazyn can tap to produce blue mana using the Diary's ability and then immediately pay {2} to untap itself, repeating the cycle as long as you have enough Clues to generate surplus mana.
