How it works

1. Activate Unnatural Selection by paying 1, causing Magmaw to become a Pirate until end of turn.
2. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
3. Malcolm triggers, creating a Treasure and a 1/1 Frog creature token.
4. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns Magmaw into an honorary corsair with the help of Unnatural Selection, allowing its own sacrificial ammunition to trigger Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator's wealth generation when it deals damage to an opponent. Thanks to Quina, Qu Gourmet's replacement effect, every single Treasure generated along the way comes paired with a 1/1 green Frog creature token. You can then sacrifice those very same Frogs to fuel Magmaw's damage ability, creating a self-sustaining engine of infinite damage, deaths, and artifact creation.
