How it works

1. Activate Unnatural Selection by paying 1, causing Magmaw to become a Pirate until end of turn.
2. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
3. Malcolm triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
4. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns a clever mechanical metamorphosis into a lethal engine, using Unnatural Selection to rewrite Magmaw's creature type so it counts as a Pirate. Because Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator is watching, every time Magmaw hurls a sacrificed permanent at an opponent, it triggers to generate a Treasure token. Exalted Sunborn doubles that token generation, creating two Treasures instead of one for each opponent damaged.
