How it works

1. Activate Unnatural Selection by paying 1, causing Shao Jun to become a Pirate until end of turn.
2. Activate Shao Jun by tapping two artifacts, dealing 1 damage to each opponent.
3. Malcolm triggers, creating a Treasure for each opponent dealt damage this way.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By twisting reality with Unnatural Selection, you convince Shao Jun to moonlight as a swashbuckling Pirate, allowing her to trigger Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator whenever her Rope Dart sprays damage across the table. Malcolm rewards this newfound piracy by generating a fresh crop of Treasure tokens each time, which conveniently replenishes the very artifacts Shao Jun needs to tap in order to keep the loop firing. Because Unnatural Selection's type-shifting effect lasts until end of turn and the Treasures pay for themselves or each other when you need mana, you can repeat this ping-and-loot cycle to wipe out your opponents in a single fiery turn.
