How it works

1. Cast Wick by paying 3.
2. When Wick enters the battlefield, it triggers.
3. Holding priority, if you control a Snail, activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the Snail, putting a +1/+1 counter on Phantom Train.
4. If needed, repeat step 3 until you do not control a Snail.
5. Resolve the Wick trigger, creating a 1/1 Snail creature token.
6. When the Snail enters the battlefield as a Rat due to Leyline of Transformation, Wick triggers.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This loop turns your battlefield into a self-sustaining engine by cleverly manipulating creature types with Leyline of Transformation, which ensures every creature you own—including tokens—enters as a Rat in addition to its other types. Because of this, when Wick, the Whorled Mind enters the battlefield, it triggers to create a Snail token, which immediately enters as a Rat to trigger Wick all over again. You then feed that Snail to Phantom Train's activation cost, pumping the Vehicle with a +1/+1 counter while clearing your Snail so Wick's next entry creates a fresh one instead of just placing a counter. By cycling the Snail back and forth between creation and sacrifice, you endlessly fuel Phantom Train and rack up an infinite number of creature leaves-the-battlefield, enters-the-battlefield, and sacrifice triggers.
