How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
5. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability from step 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 2.
7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
8. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in resource recycling, centered around the black mana generated by Priest of Gix. With Helm of Awakening on the field lowering the casting cost of Priest of Gix from three mana down to two, sacrificing it to Bloodflow Connoisseur pays for itself while triggering Rakdos, the Muscle's ability to exile cards from your library. Before that exile resolves, Haunted Crossroads lets you tuck Priest of Gix right back onto the top of your library so that Rakdos's trigger plucks it straight back into exile for you to recast. The result is an engine that grows Bloodflow Connoisseur with infinite +1/+1 counters while letting you casually exile your entire library to cast everything else you find.
