How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
5. Resolve the Yahenni ability from step 1.
6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 2.
7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
8. Repeat.

This elegant loop lets you leverage Priest of Gix as your recurring sacrifice fodder for Yahenni, Undying Partisan, feeding its indestructible safety net while churning through your deck. Each iteration is naturally funded by the dark mana the Priest produces upon re-entering the battlefield, while Stone Calendar steps in to ease the mana burden by making your spells cost {1} less. As the Priest repeatedly hits the graveyard, Rakdos, the Muscle triggers to exile chunks of your library—and thanks to Rakdos's own text, you can freely spend any type of mana to cast those spells right out of exile. Finally, Haunted Crossroads acts as the crucial glue that plucks the Priest right back to the top of your library so Rakdos's exile trigger can scoop it back up into your hands.
