How it works
Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability from step 1, dealing 1 damage to any target.
Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 1.
When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
Repeat.
This cunning loop turns the humble Priest of Gix into an engine of endless destruction by manipulating mana costs and the top of your library. With Semblance Anvil already discounting creature spells by two generic mana, the Priest can be cast from exile for a single generic mana, which its own enters-the-battlefield trigger immediately refunds as three black mana—generating a net surplus each iteration. Goblin Bombardment provides the reliable outlet to sacrifice the Priest on demand, dealing steady damage while letting Rakdos, the Muscle trigger to exile your library and set up your future plays. Finally, Haunted Crossroads acts as the crucial glue that uses a sliver of that generated black mana to recycle the Priest from your graveyard straight back to the top of your library, ensuring the entire cycle can repeat indefinitely.
