How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
5. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability from step 1.
6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 2.
7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
8. Repeat.

This intricate loop feeds on the mana engine of Priest of Gix, which generates three black mana upon entering the battlefield to comfortably cover its own recast cost—a cost further discounted by Honest Rutstein. While Bloodflow Connoisseur serves as the designated sacrificial outlet to put the Priest into the graveyard, Haunted Crossroads uses that generated mana to immediately loop the Priest back to the top of your library. From there, Rakdos, the Muscle catches the dying Priest to exile your library card by card, letting you cast those exiled spells using any color of mana while the Connoisseur grows endlessly large with +1/+1 counters.
