How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
5. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1.
6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 2.
7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
8. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Rakdos, the Muscle to exile your entire library while churning through endless sacrifices, all fueled by the mana generated whenever Priest of Gix enters the battlefield. Altar of Dementia does the dirty work of putting the Priest into the graveyard, where Haunted Crossroads can immediately set it back on top of your library to be recast. Meanwhile, The Immortal Sun quietly pulls double duty by making those creature spells cheaper to cast and pumping their stats, ensuring you have more than enough mana and resources to keep the loop spinning infinitely.
