How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
5. Resolve the Shilgengar ability from step 1.
6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying at most 2.
7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
8. Repeat.

This wicked loop turns the relentless sacrifice engine of Shilgengar, Sire of Famine and Rakdos, the Muscle into an engine for infinite mana and card access. By feeding Priest of Gix to Shilgengar to generate Blood tokens, you trigger Rakdos to exile cards from the top of your library while you use Haunted Crossroads to seamlessly recycle the Priest back to the top just in time to catch those exiled spells. Meanwhile, the life gain from Ezzaroot Channeler's tap ability or the resulting Blood generation fuels massive cost reductions that let you recast the Priest for next to nothing, generating endless black mana from its entrance trigger to keep the cycle spinning.
