How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Priest of Gix, adding .
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Priest of Gix on top of your library from your graveyard.
3. Cast Priest of Gix from the top of your library by paying 2.
4. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
5. Repeat.

This looping engine lets you endlessly churn through your deck by turning Phyrexian Altar and Priest of Gix into a self-sustaining mana generator. Every time you sacrifice Priest of Gix to the Altar, Mortuary catches it on the way to the graveyard and neatly places it right back on top of your library. From there, Experimental Frenzy lets you completely bypass your hand, allowing you to recast Priest of Gix straight off the top using the very black mana it just generated.
