How it works

  3. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EEE, sacrificing Priest of Gix and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Activated Sleeper from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Priest of Gix.
  4. When Activated Sleeper enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding B manaB manaB mana.
  5. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1B mana.
  6. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
