How it works

1. Activate Dinosaur Headdress' equip ability by paying 2, attaching it to Priest of Gix and causing Priest of Gix to become a copy of Cavalier of Night.
2. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Priest of Gix, adding .
3. When Priest of Gix dies, its second ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the copy mechanics of Dinosaur Headdress (the crafted back face of Paleontologist's Pick-Axe) into an engine of continuous rebirth by turning Priest of Gix into a copy of Cavalier of Night. Because Priest of Gix inherently returns itself from the graveyard to the battlefield when it dies, and its copy effect makes it trigger its own resurrection, you can repeatedly feed it to Thermopod for red mana. The mana generated by Thermopod and the black mana provided by Priest of Gix's entrance ability sustain the loop indefinitely, while Dinosaur Headdress quietly fuels the entire transformation.
