This loop centers around an endless cycle of sacrifice and recursion, fueled by Cemetery Prowler passively discounting your black spells so that Priest of Gix can be continuously recast for less than the mana it produces. You begin by using Altar of Dementia to send Priest of Gix to the graveyard, triggering Rakdos, the Muscle to exile cards from the top of a library while simultaneously granting itself protection. Before that exile trigger resolves, Haunted Crossroads steps in to place Priest of Gix right back on top of your library, ensuring it is waiting for you to cast it anew from exile. As this engine spins infinitely, Altar of Dementia mills your opponents out, and Rakdos, the Muscle steadily digs through your entire library so you can play whatever you find.
