How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability from step 1.
6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 2.
7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
8. Repeat.

This loop turns a simple sacrifice outlet into an engine by leveraging cost reduction and library manipulation to recast the same creature indefinitely. Honest Rutstein eases the mana burden by making your creature spells cost {1} less, allowing you to replay Priest of Gix from exile for just {2}. As Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, its mana ability generates three black mana, which easily funds both its own re-casting cost and the {B} activation fee for Haunted Crossroads. Meanwhile, Phantom Train acts as the sacrifice engine that feeds Rakdos, the Muscle, whose triggered ability continuously exiles your library so you can play those cards while stacking up endless +1/+1 counters on your Vehicle.
