How it works
Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
Resolve the Phantom Train ability from step 1.
Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 1
When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
Repeat.
This intricate loop turns the graveyard into an engine by continuously recycling Priest of Gix, whose entry trigger funds its own loop by generating three black mana. Planar Gate plays a crucial role by reducing that creature's cost down to just a single generic mana, leaving you with a surplus of black mana each iteration. Haunted Crossroads lets you tuck the priest right back onto your library, while Rakdos, the Muscle capitalizes on those constant sacrifices to exile your entire library so you can play it. Finally, Phantom Train acts as the sacrifice outlet that keeps the cycle moving while piling up infinite +1/+1 counters on itself.
