How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
5. Resolve the Woe Strider ability from step 1, causing you to scry 1.
6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 2.
7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
8. Repeat.

This delightfully morbid loop relies on Woe Strider to continually devour Priest of Gix, utilizing the ritual's entry mana to fund both the recurrence and the assembly line. Because Helm of Awakening reduces casting costs, the three black mana generated by Priest of Gix more than covers the discounted cost to replay it from exile. Meanwhile, Haunted Crossroads stacks the Priest back onto your library just in time for Rakdos, the Muscle to trigger off the sacrifice, exiling your library piece by piece while granting you the freedom to cast your entire deck with any color of mana.
