How it works
Activate Anzrag by paying 3, causing opponents to block Anzrag if able this turn.
Cast Darksteel Mutation for 1 targeting the only creature an opponent controls.
Resolve Darksteel Mutation, turning the enchanted creature into a 0/1 Insect artifact creature with indestructible.
Declare Anzrag as an attacker, attacking the opponent who controls the enchanted creature.
The opponent is forced to block Anzrag with the enchanted creature, triggering Anzrag, untapping all creatures you control and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
Repeat from step 4.
This clever loop centers around Anzrag, the Quake-Mole, whose triggered ability creates a fresh combat phase and untaps your entire team whenever it becomes blocked. To make this happen reliably every single turn, we use Darksteel Mutation to strip away an opponent's creature of all its abilities and turn it into a harmless, indestructible 0/1 insect. Because Anzrag's activated ability forces that defenseless bug to block him every combat, you are guaranteed an endless cycle of mandatory blocks, untaps, and infinite combat phases.
