How it works

1. Activate Chameleon using Avatar Kuruk's ability by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Activate Lilysplash Mentor by paying 1, blinking Chameleon. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Avatar Kuruk.
3. Repeat each turn.

This ingenious loop turns Avatar Kuruk's backside into an engine for infinite turns by taking advantage of the unique way cloning works with transforming permanents. When you cast Chameleon, Master of Disguise from your graveyard using its mayhem cost and let it enter as a copy of the Avatar Kuruk side of The Legend of Kuruk, it inherits that formidable Exhaust ability—allowing you to tap your artifacts and creatures to pay the heavy {20} waterbend cost and secure an extra turn. From there, you simply use Lilysplash Mentor's sorcery-speed blink ability to exile the Chameleon and bring it right back down, resetting its copy choice so it's ready to transform or be recast into the loop all over again.
