How it works

1. Cast Volcano Hellion by paying 2.
2. When Volcano Hellion enters, it triggers, dealing an arbitarily large amount of damage to you and a creature. The damage that would be dealt to you is dealt to Mogg Maniac instead due to Pariah's Shield.
3. Mogg Maniac triggers, dealing an arbitrarily large amount of damage to an applicable target.

This explosive setup centers on Volcano Hellion's entry trigger, which lets you choose an arbitrarily large amount of damage to deal to both yourself and a creature you control. While that much self-inflicted harm would normally spell disaster, Pariah's Shield redirects all that incoming pain straight to your own Mogg Maniac instead. That redirection turns the Hellion's massive damage payload right back around, causing Mogg Maniac to unleash the full, lethal fury upon your opponent.
