How it works

1. Cast Volcano Hellion by paying 2.
2. Volcano Hellion enters the battlefield, triggering itself.
3. Holding priority, activate General's Regalia by paying 3, choosing to redirect the next damage Volcano Hellion does to you to Mogg Maniac instead.
4. Resolve Volcano Hellion's ability, dealing an arbirarily large amount of damage to Mogg Maniac.
5. Mogg Maniac triggers, dealing an arbitarily large amount of damage to target opponent.

This devious setup turns Volcano Hellion's self-inflicted damage into a lethal weapon by leveraging redirection and reflection. When Volcano Hellion enters the battlefield, its triggered ability normally blasts you and a creature of your choice for a massive, game-ending amount of life-loss. However, by activating General's Regalia beforehand, you gracefully redirect that impending self-harm straight onto your own Mogg Maniac. The resilient Mogg Maniac absorbs the blow and immediately triggers, reflecting that colossal chunk of damage directly into your opponent's face to secure the win.
