How it works

1. Activate Marvin using Avatar Kuruk's ability by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. At the beginning of your end step, Airbender Ascension triggers, blinking Marvin.
3. Repeat each turn.

This brilliant engine relies on Marvin, Murderous Mimic to copy the devastating Exhaust waterbend ability printed on the back face of The Legend of Kuruk // Avatar Kuruk, allowing you to pay a massive twenty mana—discounted heavily by tapping your available artifacts and creatures—to take an extra turn. Because Avatar Kuruk also rewards your spellcasting with unblockable tokens, you'll have plenty of permanents ready to fuel the cost. Meanwhile, Airbender Ascension provides the crucial reset button: its end-step trigger blinks Marvin, which causes Avatar Kuruk's transformed back face to treat the mimic as a brand-new object and allows you to reuse its once-per-game Exhaust ability all over again on subsequent turns.
