How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing the creature with Griffin Guide attached.
2. When the creature dies, Cass and Griffin Guide trigger.
3. Resolve the Griffin Guide trigger, creating a 2/2 Griffin creature token.
4. Resolve the Cass trigger, returning Griffin Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to another creature you control.
5. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the brilliant recursive engine of Cass, Hand of Vengeance, which constantly recycles fallen enchantments whenever an enchanted or equipped creature meets its end. By feeding creatures enchanted with Griffin Guide into Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice outlet, you trigger a cascading sequence where the dying creature naturally replaces itself with a 2/2 white Griffin creature token. At the same time, Cass, Hand of Vengeance catches the departing Griffin Guide in the graveyard and slams it right back onto the newly minted token, keeping the whole process primed to repeat endlessly.
