How it works

1. Activate any number of creatures you control by tapping them, adding at least 5.
2. Activate Isochron Scepter by paying 2 and tapping it, casting a copy of Vitalize without paying its mana cost.
3. Resolve Vitalize, untapping all creatures you control.
4. Activate Elder Druid by paying 3 and tapping it, untapping Isochron Scepter.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on Isochron Scepter holding the key to your instant-speed freedom after you imprint Vitalize onto it. By tapping out your mana-producing creatures to fund the Scepter's activation, you cast Vitalize for free to untap your entire board, letting Elder Druid step in with its {3}{G} ability to untap the Scepter itself. Because Elder Druid also untaps during the mass refresh, you've established a self-sustaining engine that endlessly recycles your mana and triggers infinite casts.
