How it works

1. Activate Mutavault's second ability by paying 1, causing it to become a 2/2 creature with all creature types until end of turn.
2. Activate Mutavault's first ability by tapping it, adding C.
3. Deeproot Pilgrimage triggers, creating a 1/1 Merfolk creature token.
4. When the Merfolk enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms your land into a self-sustaining mana factory by leveraging Mutavault's ability to become every creature type at once. Tapping it for colorless mana triggers Deeproot Pilgrimage because Mutavault is currently a Merfolk, which immediately births a 1/1 blue Merfolk token with hexproof. That new arrival causes Intruder Alarm to trigger, untapping all creatures—including your animated Mutavault—so you can repeat the process to generate an infinite army of tokens and boundless mana.
