How it works
- Activate Thallid Soothsayer by paying 2 and sacrificing another creature, causing you to draw a card.
- An opponent's Wedding Ring's second ability triggers, causing them to draw a card.
- Xyris' first ability triggers, creating three 1/1 Snake creature tokens.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Snake, adding CC.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns a simple card draw into an absolute avalanche of resources, supercharged by the passive multipliers of Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation. By sacrificing a creature to Thallid Soothsayer, you draw a card, which forces your opponent's Wedding Ring to trigger and make them draw as well; that opposing draw immediately wakes up Xyris, the Writhing Storm to flood your board with Snake tokens. Ojer Taq steps in to triple those token creations into a massive horde, which you can then feed into Ashnod's Altar for a surplus of colorless mana to keep fueling the Thallid Soothsayer engine indefinitely.
