How it works
- Activate Thallid Soothsayer by paying 2 and sacrificing another creature, causing you to draw a card.
- An opponent's Wedding Ring's second ability triggers, causing them to draw a card.
- Xyris' first ability triggers, creating two 1/1 Snake creature tokens.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Snake, adding CC.
- Repeat.
This cunning loop turns the giving and receiving of gifts into an engine of endless power, anchored by the reciprocal triggers of Wedding Ring. By using Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice the creatures you create, you generate the mana needed to fuel Thallid Soothsayer's sacrifice ability and draw a card.
