How it works

  1. Activate five lands by tapping them, adding at least 5.
  2. Activate Meloku five times by paying 5 and returning the five lands from the battlefield to your hand, creating five 1/1 Illusion creature tokens.
  3. Activate Phyrexian Altar four times by sacrificing four Illusions, adding 2G manaG mana.
  4. Cast Journey to the Oracle either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 2G manaG mana and commander tax, if applicable.
  5. Archmage Emeritus triggers, causing you to draw a card.
  6. Resolve Journey to the Oracle, putting at least five lands from your hand onto the battlefield, then causing you to discard a card and Journey to the Oracle to your hand.
  7. Repeat.
