How it works
- Activate Famished Paladin using Kiki-Jiki's ability by tapping it, creating a token copy of itself with haste.
- When the Famished Paladin token enters the battlefield, Verdant Sun's Avatar triggers, causing you to gain life equal to Famished Paladin's toughness.
- Each Famished Paladin you control triggers, untapping themselves.
- Repeat.
- You may also target any nonlegendary creature you control.
This clever loop begins with Agatha's Soul Cauldron exiling Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and granting its legendary tap ability to your other creatures carrying +1/+1 counters. With those counters in place, Famished Paladin gains Kiki-Jiki's signature knack for cloning nonlegendary creatures. When you tap the Paladin to copy itself, the incoming token immediately triggers Verdant Sun's Avatar, granting life equal to the Paladin's toughness. That influx of life awakens Famished Paladin via its own passive untap ability, allowing you to repeat the process endlessly to flood the board with hasty copies.
