How it works

1. Activate Kiki-Jiki by tapping it, creating a token copy of Lumbering Battlement.
2. When the Lumbering Battlement token enters the battlefield, it triggers, exiling Kiki-Jiki until Lumbering Battlement leaves the battlefield.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Lumbering Battlement token.
4. When the Lumbering Battlement token dies, Kiki-Jiki is returned from exile to the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant looping engine relies on Lumbering Battlement's ability to temporarily tuck away Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker when it enters the battlefield, creating a self-sustaining rescue cycle. Every time Kiki-Jiki reappears, it taps to mint a fresh copy of Lumbering Battlement, which immediately exiles Kiki-Jiki once more. Feeding the cloned Lumbering Battlement into Ashnod's Altar just before it hits the graveyard breaks the exile holding pattern and spits Kiki-Jiki right back out to start the process over again. Because Ashnod's Altar rewards each sacrifice with a pair of colorless mana, this frantic loop spins up an infinite supply of mana alongside an endless parade of enter-the-battlefield and leave-the-battlefield triggers.
