How it works

1. Activate Kiki-Jiki by tapping it, creating a token copy of Shambling Shell with haste.
2. Activate the Shambling Shell token by sacrificing it.
3. When the Shambling Shell token dies, Kiki-Jiki triggers, untapping itself.
4. Resolve the Shambling Shell ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on target creature.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker into a relentless token-manufacturing engine by outsmarting its usual legendary restriction. Because Kiki-Jiki is naturally a Shaman, Thornbite Staff automatically equips to him upon entry and grants him both a ping ability and a crucial static trigger: whenever any creature dies, the staff untaps its bearer. You use Kiki-Jiki to copy Shambling Shell, then sacrifice that token to its own ability to put a +1/+1 counter on a creature. The resulting death triggers Thornbite Staff to untap Kiki-Jiki immediately, allowing you to repeat the process to build up infinite death triggers, enter-the-battlefield effects, and arbitrarily large +1/+1 counters on your board.
